Application Requirements
The list below includes all the information that you need to apply to the graduate economics program. The items on this list are linked to downloadable forms (readable with Acrobat Reader) and additional information. Please note that the two different mailing addresses that apply.
1.Application form (mail to Admissions Office).
2.Application processing fee (mail to Admissions Office).
3.Official school transcripts (mail to Admissions Office).
4.Three letters of recommendation (mail to Department of Economics).
5.GraduateRecord Examination (GRE) scores (mail to Department of Economics).
6.Statement of personal academic goals
(mail to Department of Economics).
7.Test of English as a Foreign
Language (TOEFL) score, if English is not your first language (mail
to Admissions Office)
Our Ph.D. program is scheduled so that the courses are offered
in a sequence; therefore, it is only possible to start the Ph.D. program
in the Fall. The Fall application deadline is April 1st. Applicants will hear
back approximately mid-May.
Our Masters
program admissions committee reviews applications throughout the year. It is preferable to start the Masters
program in the Fall; however, it is possible to apply for Fall or Spring.
Only Ph.D. students are eligible for financial aid.
If you wish to apply, you should submit an
application for
financial assistance form (mail to Department of Economics). as well as ALL your other documents. It has an
earlier deadline of February 1st. Applicants will hear back approximately mid-March.
