My research is in microeconomics and applied industrial organization or industrial economics. I have applied these areas to examining four year + universities in the United States in investigating gender differences in faculty pay, research and teaching issues, and administrative cost issues. I have also applied these areas to the study of East and South East Asian countries investigating industrial capital structure, failure of financial institutions in Thailand, and bank financial structure in these countries. I co-teach classes on multinational firms with Professor Reynolds. My publications can be found in my Personal Web Page.
