The Web is a crucial tool for learning, staying connected and retrieving
information. But finding your way around can be frustrating.
Here are some starting points for those interested in economics and
business statistics, health economics, business and society,
international trade and finance, public finance, labor economics or the
economics of Thailand. Google, of course, is the search engine of
choice, but try others as well. I like
www.alltheweb.com. It helps
me when Google seems not to be showing what I'm looking for. If
you are at the University of Utah, the U Library has an excellent set of
search engines found at
www.lib.utah.edu/ResGuides . Choose the economics link.
EconLIt is good for economics journals and Academic Universe is god for
newspapers, magazines and periodicals. Also check out the Business
link.
